Back inthe spring of 1993 Dan was introduced to the sound of deep house from the likes of DiY soundsystem, a free party collective from his home town of Nottingham UK, a place where deep house was riffe throughout the 90′s. A few years later he got his first set of 1210′s and set about collecting records. In 1997 he landed a weekly saturday night slot on one of Nottinghams notorious pirate radio stations and from this he was also getting DJ slots at clubs, bars and parties in and around the Nottingham area. From 2000 until 2009 the music took a back seat in his life until the very same DiY collective put on a fantastic free party to celebrate thier 20th birthday. That party was special to say the least it was also a massive trigger, the vibe, the people and that oldskool underground house sound. From that point on he has been chasing that 90′s underground house groove once again, day in day out… and so the story continues.
