Hi, my name is Daan Groeneveld. I’m a Underground House DJ from Amsterdam. I grew up with electronic music I got from my brothers, made a switch to Hiphop in my puberty and came back to house and techno through the infamous club 11 (Amsterdam, R.I.P.). I have always been inspired by the raw and more obscure sounds in electronic music. Filthy high-hats, hard kicks and nasty snares preferably out of the TR-909 drummachine. It was the introduction to ‘My Love Is Underground’ that opened the biggest door to the house sound I like the most. Nowadays I play this sound as a resident of the ‘Tomorrow is Now, Kid!’ & ‘Hideout’ party’s as well as in Amsterdams finest underground club, ‘Studio 80’! Here I try to accomplish my biggest goal: make people dance like crazy to music they don’t know!
