*** XCLUSIVE MIX 4 KEEPITRAW *** … 66 mins @ 320 kbps joint stereo

23-year-old music lover Rikki Humphrey has a passion for collecting records and creating new music. Raised on a diet of 70s rock and soul, Rikki took up drumming at the age of eleven. Listening to 90′s hip-hop progressively led him to delve further into music, thus discovering a certain French duo in his early teens.

Digging deeper into dance music and listening to old essential mixes, Rikki quickly developed a taste for deep and underground house. Naturally with collecting records, he began mixing at 16.

Armed with a keen musical exposure, he began saving to afford production equipment, in order to capture that deep, raw, early, vocal house sound he had fallen in love with. With 1993 US style fat basslines and heavy UK garage rhythmics disappearing from modern day house music, he aim’s to create dance floor jams that make your neck snap and your body jack. If his productions aren’t solely intended for the dance floor, then he plan’s to take his listeners body and soul on a musical journey elsewhere…..

With up-coming releases on a few different UK labels such as ArtfulDivison, as well as a string of remixes in the pipe line, Rikki fully intends on exposing his unique and fresh sound that began life in mid 2011.

  1. Thanks for checking out my mix guys, muh appreciated : )

The idea behind the mix was to keep things up beat and strictly dancefloor related, in keeping with Lucas’ ‘raw’ ethics! I have included some of my all time 12″s, as well as a selection of new records that I am really feeling!
