*** XCLUSIVE MIX 4 KEEPITRAW *** … 68 mins @ 320 kbps joint stereo

The Love Revolution initially got it’s name from one of our favorite Mood II Swing remixes, but then ended up making sense for us on a number of different levels, not the least of which was that sounds like it’s exactly what the world needs right now. We also felt the name well represented the music we want to release, which is True Underground Deep House, and then the artwork sort of fell into our laps, and it all seemed to happen very naturally. so here we are: The Love Revolution.
This mix was record at love Rev HQ, at 766 Underground, Brooklyn, New York. The mix heavily features our third release, which is due out in April, 2013 ,and features James Johnston, Montel and our boy from DC, Nav. We feel passionately about every piece of music we have released or will release, but we’re especially excited about Nav’s music at this very moment, as he is making beautiful Deep House Music and we’re the only label releasing his tracks on vinyl. We expect many labels will be beating down his door pretty soon, but it’s fun for us to be the first right now. And Love Rev 003 won’t be the last you hear of Nav on our label, either. Also on this mix, a track from the Joey Kay EP, which will be released as Love Rev 004 in June. We’re very excited about this as well. The tune on this mix, “I Can’t Stand It”, was made in 1991 and was originally a demo submission for Trax, and the other tracks we have from Joey are quite brilliant as well. One more nod to the future before we go, we have some beautiful music from a kid named Cromby that we’ve very excited about as well. We see ourselves as having quite a bit to look forward to at the moment.
Every release will be vinyl only, and will be hand stamped and hand numbered, by us, with love, in Brooklyn. Big thanks to Lucas Rawculture for having us. We hope you enjoy the music.
